A yearly retreat of 2-3 days allows an intensive discussion of student's research as well as career plans. In contrast to the summer schools and graduate courses, the retreat does not focus on a particular topic, but rather offers an informal atmosphere for discussing student's short and long term goals. The retreats are limited to students and faculty of the IMPRS only to create a more personal environment.
